As part of school procedures to ensure overall student well being and a supportive environment for the school community, Student Services provide a range of programs and support to students, staff and parents/carers. This team consists of 1 Department leader, 1 teacher and 3 teacher aides who work closely with the guidance officer, the Principal and the Deputy Principal's.
For students these programs include both proactive and reactive strategies and programs to assist with managing behaviour as well as liaison with other relevant agencies to support student needs. Parents and carers are offered support through Student Welfare Meetings, Restorative Practices Conferences and liaison with personnel from other agencies and departments. Staff support includes training and on-going support for Team-Teach, Positive Behaviour for Learning, The Reboot Program, Functional Behaviour Analysis (FBA) and assistance with writing Behaviour Support Plans and Risk Assessments.
